It's 17:40 and nobody can do the pickup.

You know families on the same street. You just have no calm place to ask them. Parentsy brings local communities and private rooms together so everyday plans can happen.

Built around nearby, private parent support

  • Nearby by design
  • Private where it counts
  • Children have no public profiles
  • Safe Spaces are opt-in

Three steps, and the pickup is solved

Discover and discuss in Public Communities. When a conversation becomes a plan, move it into a private Organize Room.

Public Communities

Open discovery and useful discussion.

Private Organize Rooms

Member-only planning for everyday life.

  1. Discover

    01

Find nearby communities for your area, your child's stage, or your school.

  2. Discuss

    02

Ask parents who live where you live—not a global feed.

  3. Organize

    03

Move playdates, pickups, and class groups into a member-only room.

The four things parents actually need help with

Not “engagement.” Just the moments that fall apart when nobody nearby can help.

  • A playdate

A local conversation becomes Saturday at the playground.

  • The pickup

Who takes which day, agreed in one private room.

  • Where to go

Ask where families nearby actually go.

  • The class group

School and daycare planning in one calm place.

What parents can do from day one

  • Browse before signing up

Explore public communities before creating an account.

  • Search and discover

Find communities and public discussions by location or topic.

  • Ask and answer

Ask questions and exchange practical experience.

  • Organize privately

Plan playdates, pickups, and class groups in private rooms.

  • Opt-in Safe Spaces

Join smaller spaces for sensitive conversations when eligible.

What we promise

Five rules we designed the product around

Trust isn't a badge on a landing page. These rules are structural—they shape how Parentsy works.

  1. Public is for discovery only
  2. Rooms are member-only
  3. Your address stays yours
  4. Children have no profiles
  5. Safe Spaces are opt-in

What comes after launch

Parentsy starts with local discovery, useful discussion, and private coordination. These three additions follow.

  • Family-friendly Places

Discover playgrounds, cafés, activities and services recommended by parents nearby.

  • Local Marketplace

Find, sell or pass on parent-related items within your local community.

  • Community-vouched Profiles

See community vouches that provide additional context before you connect.

Parenting Works Better with a Circle

Parentsy is a startup redefining how families connect. Moving away from curated digital personas and toward real, local support in everyday life, Parentsy provides a reliable, approachable, and entirely community-driven platform. We are built to make local support and everyday coordination easier—without relying on noisy, overwhelming group chats.

Born from Real Expat & Parenting Challenges

Parentsy was founded out of a genuine need for real-life connections during the transformative journey of parenthood:

Timo Fitzner (Founder)

A German expat living in Athens, Greece, Timo welcomed his daughter in December 2025. Experiencing firsthand how challenging and isolating it can be to build a local support network as an expat father, he realized parent-to-parent connection needed a complete overhaul.

Hilal Landermann (Co-Founder)

Having moved near Hamburg, Germany, Hilal gave birth to her second daughter in the middle of the pandemic. Without access to traditional postnatal classes, baby groups, or local family networks, she experienced how hard it is to connect in a new place without an existing community.

Why Parentsy for Expat Families?

Moving to a new city or country as a parent can feel overwhelming. Parentsy bridges the gap by helping international parents, expats, and locals build their own "village" for playdates, childcare coordination, and authentic everyday advice.
