Parentsy is a mobile and web-based community platform for parents and caregivers. Parentsy helps adults discover parent communities, exchange experiences, and organize private coordination spaces such as playdates, school groups, local parent circles, and carpools.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you use our website, mobile app, waitlist, community features, or contact us.

2. Who can use Parentsy
Parentsy is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use Parentsy.
Parentsy is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. Children cannot create accounts on Parentsy.
Parentsy does not create public child profiles.
Parents or caregivers may voluntarily provide limited child-related information, such as a child’s age, birth year, or gender, to improve community relevance and personalization. This information is optional and should not include sensitive information.
We encourage users not to share identifiable or sensitive information about children, including full names, exact addresses, school details, medical details, or identifiable photos, unless they have the legal right and a clear reason to do so.

6. Location data
Parentsy is built around local parent discovery and local organization. For this reason, location-related features are part of the product.
We may use approximate location, city, postal code area, country, or manually selected location to show relevant communities, parents, groups, or content.
We do not show your precise location to other users. You should never post your exact address publicly or in groups unless you intentionally choose to share it with trusted people.
You can control device-level location permissions through your operating system settings.
7. Child-related information
Parentsy does not offer child accounts and does not create public child profiles.
Parents or caregivers may optionally add limited child-related information, such as age, birth year, or gender, to make the app more relevant.
This information may be used to personalize communities, recommendations, content discovery, or local parent matching.
Users should not upload or share sensitive child-related information unless necessary and lawful.
8. Private groups, rooms, and messages
Parentsy may offer private groups, rooms, direct messages, or other member-only spaces.
Private spaces are designed to limit visibility to selected members. However, no digital communication can be guaranteed to remain completely confidential. Other users may copy, screenshot, or share information outside the app.
We may access, review, or process private content where necessary for safety, moderation, abuse prevention, technical support, legal compliance, or to investigate reports.
9. Moderation and safety
To keep Parentsy safe, we may process reports, user-generated content, account information, and interaction data.
We may review reported content, restrict features, remove content, suspend accounts, or take other action where users violate our Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.
10. Analytics
Parentsy uses analytics tools, including Firebase Analytics, to understand how the app is used, improve the product, detect issues, and make better product decisions.
Analytics data may include app interactions, screen views, feature usage, device information, approximate location, app version, and technical events.
Where legally required, we will ask for consent before enabling analytics that are not strictly necessary.
11. Crash reporting and performance monitoring
Parentsy uses Firebase Crashlytics and related Firebase services to detect crashes, technical issues, and performance problems.

Parentsy displays or may display advertising in the app, including in-feed ads.

You can delete your account directly in the Parentsy app under account settings.

Some information may be retained where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, moderation records, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
Content that you shared in communities or rooms may be deleted, anonymized, or retained in a non-identifying form where necessary to preserve conversation context or community integrity.
